OWN Bookcase No 2

This is the second bookcase we have built for the street library run by the Older Women’s Network in Newtown. This one entirely from recycled materials. The carcase came from a bookcase left out for collection by a Summer Hill resident. We had to remove the bottom section to fit it behind the bench seat, The support legs came from a table left on the street. The doors were cut down from two donated ones from the set of a play. And we painted it with paint saved from landfill by Circle Paints in St Peters.
